Welcome to Mr Bali Tour

General information for travelers and guidelines for a Bali holiday if Mr Bali is not around with you!

Money Changers
Use authorized money changers. Beware of money changers who take commissions and always count your money before leaving the counter!

Local SIM Card for Mobile Phone
You can get it from small shops labeled “JUAL PULSA” for IDR 50K up to 250K based on internet size. A new SIM card needs to be set up and registered with a passport. Ask the person at the shop to help you.

For Small Trips Around

  • Get a Blue Bird Taxi: Phone 0361-701111 or 0361-701621. Make sure the meter is ON, or download apps like Gojek or Grab (these may not cover several places in Bali).
  • Motorbike rental: IDR 50K/day. The rental service will drop off and pick up the bike from your hotel (we do not recommend this, but at least you should have an international license).

Note:
A driver's license is not necessary to rent a motorbike, but as a foreigner, there is a possibility of being stopped by police and fined. Please ensure you are an experienced rider, wear a helmet, and drive slowly.

Shopping Souvenirs
It is better to buy souvenirs at specific places such as Krishna Bali, Hawaii Bali, or Agung Bali to avoid costly purchases. Payments should match their specified amounts. Besides, the quality at these places is much better.
